The Hozelock Ecopower 10000 Filter, a high-performance pond filter with a built-in 16w UVC, offers a cost-effective solution for maintaining clear water in ponds up to 10000 litres. When installed and maintained in accordance with Hozelock's instructions, this filter guarantees clear water for ponds up to 10000 litres, catering for 435cm of fish and with a recommended maximum flow rate of 5000lph.

The filter's efficient design begins with water entering via 25, 32, or 40mm flexi hose, passing through the UV chamber. The UV chamber features a "turbulator" to increase efficiency, where the 16w UVC clumps the algae that causes green water. The water then flows through a venturi for additional aeration before passing through the bio-media and rising up through the foams. Waste in the bottom chamber can be drained away via the sludge drain, and the water exits back to the pond via 40mm flexible pipework.

This filter is easy to clean and maintain, suitable for ponds up to 20000 litres (fish ponds 10000 litres), and has an integrated UVC cleaner with a 16-watt UV lamp, helping to combat algae more effectively.

The fine foam mat provides excellent first-stage cleaning of contaminated water, and the Ecopower plus range is equipped with the unique Kaldnes K3 filter material. This creates a large surface area for bacteria adhesion, facilitating continuous renewal and resulting in an excellent cleaning effect, ensuring not only a bright but also a very healthy pond.
